A Classic White French Tip

I forgot to post these pictures. I was wearing this classic white french tip for a week. Can you believe that? But it was kinda nice to go back to one of my favorite looks in such a crazy week.
I did the french tip  free hand and I can tell you it was such a mess but after the clean up everything looked good. Impressively the right hand looked way better than the left (the one on the pic). I should have takne a picture to brag myself lololo
So what about you? Do you like the classic or the bold?

Pink Wednesday - Pure Ice Taupe Drawer + Sonia Kashuk Chocoholic

I'm sooo late to past my Pink Wednesday ... I had such a busy day but here I post.
I tried to do a funky chocolate french tip with Sonia Kashuk Chocoholic using tape. Oh, I'm not a master at using tape on my manis. I think I should practice more. Now to the pictures cause I am soooo tired and need to go to bed :)

And if you wanna see the swatch for Pure Ice Taupe Drawer here it is. It's a vintage cream rose pink. Usual 2 coats. I love PURE ICE polishes. This is is ones of my favorites. It's getting to the end and I have to get myself another bottle.

And remember of my giveaway with Essie Fall Collection polishes on the right side bar of this blog. Enter if you haven't already! See ya :)

Pink Wednesday - Pink Tip

I got this beautiful blue teal from Jordana and I was sooooo excited to try it on. I know I'm supposed to do a pink mani for today but I forgot - laugh. yeah, that's how excited I was to try that blue teal.
Then I thought " It's alright. I can add some pink to it. They will go together really well."
But talking about the teal from Jordana I got say I simply loved loved the color. It's opaque in just one coat. However I was a little frustrated with it. I know last week I swatched a pretty coral from Jordana. I had no complaints about that one. But I had issues with this bottle here. As I was applying the formula to my 10 nail fingers it started to get thicker and gooey around the open on the bottle. Maybe I just happened to score a bad bottle. Weird!! Oh, and I am not even mentioning the hard time I had cleaning the excess of that polish. It stained my cuticles and skin real bad. Imagine the nail!! And I am always applying a base coat before any nail polish. Plus, when I applied the top coat (Seche Vite then I tried 0-60) to it it kinda turned the blue teal into a greenish tone to it. I don't know, that was just so messed up.
Overall that's what I need to put up with when I love a color too  much.
I still love the color though and the formula application. And because it's Wednesday and On Wednesday I wear Pink here I have my mani of the day. I thought of doing this design with tape but I had no time for it. I attempted just a free hand and guess what? Not too shabby. What do you think?

RIMMEL all the way

I've seen some girls doing the PINK WEDNESDAY where they wear pink polish on those days. I am not sure if I will commit to that but it happened to me to wear pink today. So, will see next week.
But, anyways, here is me wearing another RIMMEL I got with the coupon I told you on my past post. Stamping is coming along and me and the stamper are becoming best friends. The images are coming off of the plate and from the stamper to my nails pretty easy and I love that. I can't stop looking at my nails. That's the bad thing about stamping specially when you think you are getting good at it. No matter how pretty your mani turned out it won't last long cause you want to try another combination of colors and designs. That's bad lololo If you play with stamping, are you like that? I fight with myself to forget my nails for at least 3 days or if I have an accident and the polish chips that's such a good excuse to myself to change polish. lololo

Funk French Butterfly

I just love non traditional french manicures. They can be fun, unique and super stylish. I tried a curved tip using tape and I kinda like it. Stamped a butterfly and voila. Me gusta! Do you stick with traditional french tips or do you risk on other shapes and colors?
For the tips one I used a brazilian polish Risqué Carmen. It's a very dark opaque purple. I'll do a swatch wearing just it one of these days.
I just apologize for my grown cuticles. I got in a challenge to not nip them off and so far I am holding myself back with my tools. It's been a month already. They don't look horrible in my opnion but they also don't look great. But oh well, it's just been so easy to change nail polish colors without having to take your cuticles off every time you do them. One more month and I'll share w/ you guys my own experience with it.
