Essie Blanc + Sinful Colors Tokyo Pearl (dislike)

Where did the year go? DECEMBER!!!!! Is that right? Can't believe it. But you know what I am excited cause my favorite holiday season is here. All the sweet songs, the pine tree smell, the yummy food, the lights, luminarias, the decoration and the most important the remind to all of us that we need to show our love to one another and really feel what's the real meaning of Xmas. I love love love Christmas. what's your favorite holiday?
Ok, now let's go to the lacquer matter.
Trying another white polish. Today I tried Essie Blanc. Not my favorite of favorites. Just ok. It's not that creamy, somewhat watery and it got opaque on my 3rd coat. Then, I was like, " Yeah, I think I like it" but like I said here before I like the one coat/two coats polishes. If I need a 3rd coat then I decide it's not the polish for me. Just the way I am. Cause that would be paiting 30 fingers once you have to do 3 coats on each one of your fingernails right? What a hassle!

Then I tried over Essie applying Sinful Colors Tokyo Pearl , a frosty shimmer white pearl ... and oh boy, superrrr draggy. I hate it!!! Do not like frosty finishes at all specially if they drag in some level that not even a great top coat (Seche Vite) can fix it. It's like I have mentioned here before: Sinful Colors nail polish are a hit and miss. Some of them are really great but most of them (in my opnion) are trash.

What are your opnions on Sinful Colors? Do you have SC Pearl Harbor? Do you dislike too or is just me?

Halloween Series - Dripping Blood Mani

Wowww Friday goodness!!! Are you guys going to any Halloween party out there?
For my Halloween Series I have here a Dripping Blood Nail Art. I can not take credit for it. But I also do not know who to credit to cause I have seen this design all over the net. And here is my take. I think this is a super awesome mani for Halloween. Don't you? My husband hates blood and he always wants to see what I did on my nails. Guess his reaction on this one? lololo He paled out (does that expression exist?). He didn't like. But " yeah, it's cute". Ohhhh, evil laugh right now!
For this mani I used a dotting tool but you can use a tooth pick or any pointed object. A white polish and a vampy red polish. This is a video I found on youtube that shows how I did my nails. Except that you really need to be fast on doing the drips cause the polish will form blobs on the point of your dotting tool. Click HERE to see the video. It's really easy do do it!!

And if you are wondering what I used for my white here you have it. This is OPI Alpine Snow my second favorite white polish for painting my nails (I have favorites for stamping so that's why the difference). But anyways my favorite white polish for painting nails is Jordana White. But for this OPI I had a good experience too. I recommend.

My favorite white nail polish? This one here.

Hello my friends! Hope you guys are enjoying your weekend as much as I am enjoying mine. I am loving my weekend and I'll be sad it will be over soon. I have my best friend from Arizona visiting me for the whole weekend.
For today's post I have a favorite simple thing to share with you guys.
Funny that I was planning on posting this and I got 2 messages asking me what was my favorite white nail polish. And here you have it!
I've tried so many white nail polishes and couldn't never find to like anyone. I then got to find my favorite white polish in a bottle of Jordana. Yes! It's a plane white polish. But so so pigmented and with easy application. I wish I had known of this polish before. No streaky, no dragging and only my usual 2 coats of lacquer. And if you are wondering the price I'll tell you it's only $1.99 plus taxes. I couldn't be happier to have this polish!! I am very pleased cause I could never find a good consistent white polish. Maybe I am being to dramatic but if you like nail polish - well if you are reading this this far and have your eyes on this blog that means you like polish right? So, yeah, I am not being over excited but anywho I am happy I found Jordana White :)
Have a great day my friends and again thank you for following me here on my blog and facebook page. It's like I always say, I am not an expert in the nail polish stuff but I so enjoy this world. I just love to connect to people and show my findings! Hope you guys like what I share. I wanna also say that I feel so special with all the sweet comments I get here, all the comments and photos you share on Lacquered Me facebook page and the emails even wishing me well when I am sick. I feel special!
Thank you!

Monday Mani PaA - Candy

Now I am up to date with my Monday Manis posts. I have here for you guys my mani for the Candy challenge this week. I guess for today's challenge I was excited. As soon as I learned what the theme was  I can say something came to my mind. I wans't dreading like I did on some past manis. Anyways, I know Xmas is far away, well not that far. It's only 3 months away. Xmas is my favorite Holiday that I always look forward to it. I then thought of doing a Candy Cane Mani. I kinda like it the way it turned out. What do you think?  That really made me through my day as I didn't have a good night of sleep with my poor hubby coughing, tossing and turning. And yeah, I am sick :( A bummer. Plus still trying to hear from Southwest. Liek I told to you guys, I was out of town last weekend and on my way back they lost my bag. I don't think I have mentioned here about that. But finally I got my bag back. I was so depressed cause i had a little Manicure Party in Utah and all of my stamping (plates and stamper/scraper) was inside of my lost bag. You guys can't imagine how sad I was considering the possibility to never see my stuff again. But thank goodness they are here safe and sound. Such a relief! Without saying my clothes and shoes that I really loveeee!
But here you have it, my mani made with tape and stampingggggg. oh yes, stamping!!!!!!

Wednesday Pink - Fancy Zebra

I am still going on posting lolo
Today is Wednesday and pink it is!
I attemped on doing a weird comnation for me that this came out not really good. First a white base coat. I don't have a good white to paint my nails. On top of that I don't like to paint the whole nail with white cause I have never found a good formula. What's your favorite white nail polish ?
Continuing on my mess ... oh boy it took me forever to finish this mani. I decided to stamp the zebra print and then do the pink tips. Oh boy, that wasn't easy and I am not please with this at all. Then wehn i was done and went applying the top coat, SV brush came  on dragging the black over the nails. Look closer and you will see. A mess! I just had to post this cause I had nothing else to post here on my Wednesday Pink other then that.
Next week I'll to play safe lolo
