My friend said it looks like Hawaiian stuff

This was one of those mani that you start with a color and just go playing around with things. And I like it. I was trying for the first time the color Sand Tropez by Essie and then I thought I could use some color on it. Decided then to pratice a little more with the designs and tried some other polishes until I found the Barielles one Wool You Marry Me that worked on the stamp just wonderful. My friend Cris says it resembles Hawaiian stuff but I think it reminds me of capuccino - even though I am not a coffee drinker.

A Dollar Tree find

My cuticles are a little dry. But nothing that a good oil doesn't fix the problem. But anyways, I wanted to show off this cute nude shade I found at the dollar store. That brand retails for $4 at Amazon.com and I paid only a dollar plus tax for it. They have really cute colors but I got just two to give it a try. The application is super smooth, the brush is ok, but the formula needs 3 coats to achieve an opaque look. I always apply 2 coats for every polish I use unless I tell otherwise. But anyways, I'm pleased with that color and just wanted to give you a shout out about a good unexpensive polish if you are on a budget.

What's your opnion?

This is the first time I did red tips. And guess what? I think I like it. I decided to play again with the stamping thing and different colors of polish and I made that little flower on my thumb and ring finger. I am in love with it. It's a good choice if you are running and has no time for a full mani. You can definetely play with different colors. Do you like this one?

A lilac from Sally Hansen

I found a coupon for Sally Hansen polishes on coupon.com and during my visit to AZ I headed over to a Target and found out that Sally Hansen Xtremes were on clearance. When I spotted this Lilac Color I instantly grabbed a bottle. It's just way cute!!
But, besides the color being so cool I gotta tell you the formula was a little to thick for my taste and I had a hard time cleaning off the edges. Plus it took forever to dry off. I love the color but I'm nt sure about the apply part of it.

Pink Polish

I am not a pink type of person but some pinks catch my attention. This one is one of them. Plus it's a NYC polish. I attempted another stamping design and I gotta tell ya: I'm doing a lot better and faster with it. That makes me happy.

A shimmer brown

There are some nail polishes that don't look good on pictures or even close ups. That is one of them. i love the color much better in person. It's such a subtle and chique color than it appears in pictures. Do you still like it though?

Mint Sorbet

I love this color but such a hard formula to apply with. My husband says that I am now using tooth paste on my finger nails lololo What do you think?

A bright RED

I absolutely love this bright red from NYC. I am starting to be a big fan of  NYC polishes. Their formula is great and the brush is super good and makes the application easy. I'm glad I stumbled on such a good and cheap brand of polish. For those who are on a budget this is a great choice. Trust me you will like them.

Funk French Butterfly

I just love non traditional french manicures. They can be fun, unique and super stylish. I tried a curved tip using tape and I kinda like it. Stamped a butterfly and voila. Me gusta! Do you stick with traditional french tips or do you risk on other shapes and colors?
For the tips one I used a brazilian polish Risqué Carmen. It's a very dark opaque purple. I'll do a swatch wearing just it one of these days.
I just apologize for my grown cuticles. I got in a challenge to not nip them off and so far I am holding myself back with my tools. It's been a month already. They don't look horrible in my opnion but they also don't look great. But oh well, it's just been so easy to change nail polish colors without having to take your cuticles off every time you do them. One more month and I'll share w/ you guys my own experience with it.
